Students who participate in YAB's programs boast a 98 percent high school graduation rate with many pursuing degrees at two- and four-year colleges, compared to a rate of 68 percent in some areas of the country.

We work primarily with high school students, and we serve a very diverse population of young people. Partners We support underserved young entrepreneurs 18 — 35 years to start, grow and sustain their businesses - enabling them to create jobs, build communities and transform lives.

Our experiential learning model prepares youth to be successful in a business environment and provides them with role models and resources to be successful.

To achieve this, we will focus on four strategic pillars: The Summer Business Camp culminates for all students with the Wall Street Conference for Teens, a week-long trip to visit one of the most fascinating financial districts in America. After completing Basic Camp, students have the opportunity to participate in Advanced Camp each summer afterwards, ending with the summer after the graduate high school.

Students are hosted by our corporate sponsors throughout the course of the week while engaging in group exploration and activities in New York City. Each team is taught by local executives who serve as their business Youth business.

Our global strategy is deliberately ambitious in response to the unacceptably high rate of global youth unemployment. Our mission is to expose youth to business theory and Youth business through our experiential learning model. After completing Basic Camp, students have the opportunity to participate in Advanced Camp each summer afterwards, ending with the summer after the graduate high school.

The top teams from each region advance to "Championship Camp" to compete for the National Championship title. Our program exposes students to business in a fun, competitive environment and adds relevance to their education by helping them understand why academic preparation is important.

Students are advised by attorneys, accountants, investment bankers and many other executives to understand the mechanics of these business transactions. Students then have the opportunity to apply the knowledge by actually participating in the management of small business operatives that we refer to as our Training Centers.

During the week, the student teams assume the leadership of their assigned corporation by acting as the executive management committee and begin their due diligence by researching their company's Annual Report.

Senior-level executives serve as judges and speakers. The program gives students a theoretical view of business through our established curriculum. Students are hosted by our corporate sponsors throughout the course of the week while engaging in group exploration and activities in New York City.
